General Aisafe, how good to see thee sir... Helius turns to greet His commander

ahh heavy drinking? he smiles
You should know me better sir... never before a good speech and ceremony....just goes against all that is holy...
in a more serious tone he continues...
On the stage... you say sir? aye it would be an honour , I shall look for your signal to approach the podium....

Smiling again he adds
Are you expecting some... trouble sir?....that you need our protection? maybe its the drinking restriction imposed...but never you mind sir we shall protect you...

Helius laughs

Returning with her empty goblet to the bar, Ricci quietly requested a shot of something stronger and was pleasantly surprised when the barkeep winked knowlingly and half-filled her goblet from a bottle taken from under the bar.

"Thank-you kindly." she smiled and took the gobet gratefully. Within a few moments she had returned to her seat and sat to sample the drink. After a few sips of the strong liquor Ricci felt much happier and returned to keeping a watchful eye on the door now and then.

Snowlynx walks onto the Compound along the path and enters into the halls. The compound is smaller than Carlisle, but has much more extravagant decor. She slowly walks through the halls, not exactly sure where she was suppose to go, before finding the Grand Hall, after seeing a few other soldiers enter the doors.

When Snowlynx walks through the doors, she notices quite a few soldiers had arrived. She nods to the guards standing by the doors, glances around the room getting the feel for her surrounding and notices a few soldiers, she had served with at Carlisle and a couple fellow Cumberians. The Hall is very Grand indeed.

She nods to a few soldiers as passes them and heads to the bar. She asks the barkeep, "A glass, please." The bartender stands holding the glass waiting for her order. Snowlynx smiles, "Just the glass, thank you." She quickly takes the glass, when he gives her a curious look.

She finds a seat near Lieutenant Colonel Tastie, Sergeant Braxton and Sergeant hunter0. She sits down, places her glass on the table, removes her flask, and pours herself a little, and replaces the flask to her inside pocket. She takes a sip and observes the soldiers and conversations in the area, quietly.

Mini smiles to her friends as she enters with Elmix. Though her love was quite formal in saluting everyone, she gave a little wave. Mini looked forward to the ceremony and all the gaiety that would go with it.

nicolas ran for the door with blinding speed! swooping through the golden gilt doors and up to the smooth marble bar and shouted in the barkeepers face! "i need a drink!! maybe some type of alcoholic beverage, maybe some tea... beer will do fine or cheese if you have it? ... ..... please?"

nic then sat down at the end of the table and wondered to himself why he says such things. he then looked towards the ceiling and gasped at all the magnificent ornaments and trophies covering the balcony above. "wow i'll always remember this place! its almost as nice as my manor, tee hee!"

after a while of pondering what animals that were on the wall were now extinct, nicolas noticed Helius and is glittering armor. he then got onto the table and started calling to helius, "hey helius!! its me nic!! He.. Helius?"

he slowly got down off the table after realizing what a commotion he'd made and took the pint of beer being shoved to him by the menacing looking bartender.

Sparkly walks into the grand hall trying to keep her mind off how many people are here. Glancing she sees a few people she has fought with, and many more whom she has never met. She quickly waves and runs off to find a lonely corner.

trey walks into the great hall and thinks to himself this is going to be one great year

* As Nets steps in the big room he is amazed from the looks of it. He walks up to Nicolas*

"hey how ya doing bud? am i to late? Very nice place uh?"

Gen Elson finally find his way to the hall and when he walk in, he was greet by the honor knights. He salute to everyone he passed by.

He joined Gen Aisafe at the front together with her wife Lt-Col Tasite.

"Our boys and girls has been working very hard. They desire to have a break for some foods and drinks. "

*smiles at luja* things are not too bad just relaxin and stuff

Hello Gen Elson glad you are here, I then bow to the lovely Generals wife. LtCol Tasite you look splended M'lady nice to see such lovely women here amongst us.

I then offer both A little treat..

::Having rode long and hard to make the ceremony he walks into the great hall brushing off the dust from his clothing as he looks about and snags a goblet from a passing server to sate his dry throat::



I have arrived My fellows isn't it about time for this party to begin ::grins::

having helped in all the wars he takes his place in the chair by the fire and gets a glass of ale then looks to the future

Striding into the hall, her step momentarily faltered then quickly resumed at the sight of her cousin's Helius and Biggie. "Together... jus' great", she murmured under her breath, wondering what form of teasing she would be subjected to now. Raising her chin another notch, she offered them both a wide smile, her eyes meeting theirs each in turn in challenge. That they continually teased and baited her, amused her to no end.
"Good day to ya, cousins".. Taking Biggies glass from him she raised it in mock salute then quickly drained it, handing it back to him with a rakish grin before lightly kissing them both on the cheek. Slipping an arm around each of their waists companionably she grinned up at them, her eyes dancing..."I assume ya two are behavin' as usual. "

Now ...you are a sight for sore eyes Cousin dearest...tis good to see you
Helius smiled as Scarlet kissed his cheek and returned the gesture
You know how we are ....of course we are behaving... as usual...
Helius winked at her as he felt her arm go round him
Now if thats a good thing or not...well that just depends...

Freezing wind lashed against the sides of the carriage as it pulled into the compound of the KoP, the steady clip-clop of the four white mares who pulled the coach across the cobblestone path a reassuring rhythm against the howl of the wind. The carriage rocked back as the coachman pulled hard on the reins and settled to a stop before the great wide doors of the magnificent building, a footman hopping down smartly from the rear, opening the door and bowing in one fluid motion.

“Thank you, John, “ Jennet said, nodding to the man and noting the faint smile cross his face even as he kept his head bowed low.

She steadied herself with one gloved hand, delicately touching the carriage door, ducking in practiced and agile fashion beneath the rise of the roof and stepping down from the warmth of the carriage to the cold stones beneath. Just for this occasion she had traded in her customary state apparel of Chester blue for a rich gown of burgundy velvet that swept across the ground with a whisper. Long chestnut tresses normally bound tightly in a coif hung in curls down her back, topped with an airy filigree coronet of silver.

“Your Grace, “ the footman interjected, “the crate?”

“Ah, yes, I’d almost forgotten, John. Find the barman and ask him to put it somewhere safe. That’s for later.”

Bowing low, both man and crate were off in a flash. Padding softly into the building, the flow of people arriving was easy to follow, so she picked her way towards the wide double doors and nodded to the guards who stood proud sentry. Emerging into the Great Hall and the growing press of people gathering, she let her gaze wander over the hall, the musicians, the tapestries and banners, and finally the people, looking for anyone she might know.

Rising up from her seat within the ceremonial hall, E-star is awed at what the place has come to mean to her. As she searches the room she immediately notices her CO and friend Helius...and next to him Biggie. Greeting them with warmth and respect her eyes search the room for her platoon.

i never had to look out for anyone exceptin' meself...this...this knighthood has rightfully changed me, she mumbles to herself. Holding the Grand Sword of Honor as Sargeant at Arms, she spots Nic and Nets and a proud smile spreads across her face and she nods her head in recognition of them. Then at his raucous 'table greeting' to Helius, she shakes her head and approaches for a word of 'encouragement'.

She continues to pan her view and finds Cabbage Kid,

ha! it has been some time since i have seen that runt! she tenderly says of her friend. She then notices Scarletrose and is pleasantly surprised at her rank, and nods several times as she smiles in her direction. Noticing the drink nearby, E-star wonders if this is for sharing...picking up a shot glass then shaking the glass she peers up at Biggie as if to ask -is it so-.

Then from the corner of her eye she spots Riccianna at the bar and makes a note to greet her long-time friend as soon as possible.

Before she could receive that drink she is tapped lightly by a guard who whispers for her...ach! me friends...duty calls. As Sargeant at Arms she excuses herself and walks to the entrance to the Grand Hall. With the Grand Sword of Honor she calls for order by lifting the sword and striking it against her shield...producing a loud yet commanding sound. Then mustering up enough wind she firmly announce: ladies, gentlemen, officers, and knights...Her Grace the Duchess of Chester...Lady Jennet de Holland.
