Sheal stood and grinned at Eilan. "About time. Right this way, m'lady" He said mockingly and gestured towards the front entrance.

She frowned and rolled her eyes at the man before her, then folded her arms across her chest once more and starts to impatiently tap her foot.

Yer goin in the wrong direction for my bag Sir...

Sheal stood up straight. "Well where is your bag then, eh? Not like we have a coat closet or anything around here except in the foyer, which is in the direction I was pointing."

She pointed back into the main hall still frowning.

Tis back in by my seat where I was watchin the ceremony.

Sheal ducks into the ceremony room and removes the bag. As he returns to the room he tosses her bag to her. "There you go. Enjoy. Now will you leave?"

She watches in horror as the brownies spill out of her bag all over the floor at her feet. She had kept her anger in check up until now, but the man before her had seriously just pissed her off. Kicking the now ruined goodies out of her way she stepped within a few feet of Sheal her blue eyes full of disgust.

You know major, tis one thing to be disrespectful to me but to go and ruin the goodies I made special for my friends here...

She kicked him squarely in the knee even tho she had been thinking of kicking higher. She turned her back on him, bent down to grab her back then walked towards the door. In the doorway she pasued calling over her shoulder.

I hope ye learn some manners before the next promotion ceremony major...

She walked out the door then headed for home.

The kick glanced off his knee guard and he just felt a bump. He did feel sorry about spilling the brownies, not knowing they were in the bag, but not sorry enough to apologize to a wolf who was already out the door. He was sure he could have handled the situation better, but some people just really got under his skin.

He sighed and returned to his drink. "Think I pissed her off mates?" He asked the others at the table.

Gen Elson is standing on the stage but he do observed what is going on off the stage

Having been watching for some time Marz about died fighting her red faced laughter from her shadowy hiding spot. Jah had blessed her with the strength to fight the urge to bust out loudly with laughter to all that just occurred.

Shaking her head she made a note to thank Elson for such an entertaining night this round before she stepped out to stand behind Cat. In the back of her head thinking how hilarious that she is considered the wild card in these parts.

Eilan comes back in and takes a bow.

Sheal stands and waves to the non-existent cheering crowd

"Thank you, thank you. I'll be here all week!"

Helius out of the corner of his eye has been watching the whole decadence unfold... and was quite calm until he saw a bag fly in the air...

he motioned over a guard and whispered to him "escort the lady and the bag over here please and tell Maj Sheal to come to my table too oh and please remind captain ALmo to lift the bann on the bar"

As the guard approaches Sheal stands and greets him. After receiving the message a puzzled expression crosses his face but he nods and walks over to Helius.

"You called, sir?"

"ahh Good sir Sheal pls be seated ...be seated i think the real entertainment will start soon as I see Lady minphoen is already setting up the dancer"
As Sheals takes a seat, Helius leans in and whispers something to him.
Then smiles a nods to the lady that approaches with the bag...

Guard please just go ahead and advise the Barkeep to open the full bar and place all drinks on general Aisafes account

Sheal leans back in his seat with a shocked expression on his face. He looks at Eilan again and can't help but to shake his head in astonishment.

She was still fuming and muttering under her breath as she made her way across the courtyard to the stables. She found her horse rather quickly and was just stashing her satchel into one of the saddle bags when one of the guards approached her.

M'lady? I was asked to escort ye back inside to the ceremony. Brigadier General Helius would like to see you and yer bag I think he said?

The look on her face went from annoyed to mildly amused as she shook her head. She grabbed a red tin with a ribbon tied around it from her saddle bag, tucked it under her arm then followed the guard back inside. He lead her to Helius' table then at the mention of the bar being opened again he took off in that direction. She eyed the two men up but couldnt help to grin when she saw the expression on Sheals face as she was escorted back inside.

Brigadier General, Major ...

She gave a curtsey in Helius' direction before taking a seat on the other side of him.

Congratulations seem to be in order m'lord. I was getting worried towards the end of the ceremony that they wouldnt recognize the work you had done in Stafford, but it seems they saved the best promotions till last.

Eilan smiled a genuine smile towards him which quickly turned to a smirk as she stomped his foot under the table.

That was for waiting so long to say something...wasnt until yer goodies went flying all over...

She shook her head with a grin then handed him the tin.



And these are for your promotion. My congratulatory gift so to speak. Yer lucky I had an extra tin in my saddle bags else ye would have had to wait another month before ye got some.

As Eilan arrived Sheal quickly stood from his chair and offered a bow in her direction.

"M'lady. I have been told that my beliefs were not entirely accurate. And with this new knowledge comes a great guilt to my soul. My actions have been...inexcusable. If I had only known... My point is this: I am sorry and i beg your forgiveness. I did not know quite what I was doing." Sheal said and remained bent at the waist while waiting for her answer.

She stood and curtsied in return to Sheal then resumed her seat motioning for him to have a seat again too.

Perhaps Major the next time someone tells ye that they're not a Wolf ye might listen to them rather than just dismiss it because they are helping a friend. I told ye earlier that yes I had been a Wolf but I had also left the organization. Once upon a time I was a member of this fine establishment as well serving under General Collen's army as well as being an Aide to General Correus. Right now though I just want to put that part of my life behind me and focus on a future with my husband.

She looked up with a soft smile.

Anyway, all is forgiven. I would just ask Major, next time someone tells ye something sont just dismiss it out of hand. T'would save ye and others a bit of trouble in the future. I do enjoy comming to the ceremonies to see my friends get the promotions they deserve.

Sheal sat and thought for a moment. "I understand what you are saying, but I am a naturally suspicious person. To many wolves and other organizations have attempted to trick me before. But I do promise to be a bit more...considerate in the future if not necessarily more trusting. And with what I have been told, welcome to the ceremonies."

Enough then ... Helius smiled as he munched on one of his favourite no cal no fat delicious brownie
let us drink a toast to friends old and a new, her or afar but for evver present in our hearts.

Sheal raises his glass dutifully for the toast. "Aye!"

Eilan lifted her glass to toast with the two men.

She took a few sips from her glass then placed it down on the table before her. She looked back and forth between the two men then around the room for a moment then spoke up again.

Tis a weird looking woman ye ahve for entertainmet m'lords...tho she does look vaguely familiar for some reason...
